VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS

 

  1. Director of Administration and Finance
  2. Chief Accountant
  3. Registrar
  4. Career Guidance and Counselling Officer

Applications are invited from suitable qualified Gambians for appointment to the vacant position of Director of Administration and Finance, Chief Accountant, Registrar and Career Guidance and counselling Officer.
 
JOBE TITTLE: DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE
 
SALARY GRADE: FIXED
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
 
A good University Post Graduate Degree in Administration and Finance OR Banking or its equivalent from a recognised University with at least five years relevant work experience preferably in a similar educational setting.
OR
 
A Master Degree in Educational Administration and Finance or its equivalent from a recognised University with at least five years relevant work experience preferably in a similar educational setting.
OR
 
A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Administration and Finance OR Banking or its equivalent from a recognised University with at least seven years work experience preferably in a similar educational setting.
(ii)  Holders of post Graduate Diploma in Education will be added advantage.
JOB TITLE: CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
SALARY GRADE: Grade 12 point 1 of the GTTI Integrated Pay Scale plus other benefits.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION (QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE)
A Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent from a recognised University with at least Five years experience in a senior position in a college environment proven good leadership qualities.
 
OR
An ACCA/ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or its equivalent from a recognised Institution with at least five years experience in a senior position in college environment. 
AAT Technician Certificate or its equivalent from a recognised Institute with at least five years work experience in a senior position in a college environment.

JOB TITLE:                    REGISTRAR
SALARY GRADE:        Grade 12 Point 1 of the GTTI Integrated Pay Scale 
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION (QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE)
 
A Masters Degree in Education Management / Educational Administration or its equivalent from a recognised University with at least five years experience in a senior position in a college environment.
 
A good university Post Graduate Diploma in Human Management or its equivalent from a recognised University.
 
A Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Human Management /Educational Administration or its equivalent from a recognised institution with at least five years experience in a senior position in a college environment.
 
Proven good leadership required
 
JOB TITLE:                    CAREER GUIDANCE AND COUSELLING OFFICER
 
SALARY GRADE:        Grade 10 point 1 of the GTTI Integrated Pay Scale
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
 
A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Social Service or its equivalent from a recognised Institution with at least five years experience in a senior position.
 
Holders of any other relevant qualification equivalent to the above from a recognised institute with at least five years experience in a senior position.
