The Government of The Gambia, through its Ministry for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology has awarded all admitted students at the Ndemban Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Centre with full scholarships for the duration of their studies.
With over a hundred students admitted, the Ndemban TVET Centre, currently operational, held its general orientations on the 18th of September, 2023. Lectures will begin on Monday, 25th of September, 2023. In addition to the lecture rooms and the Administrative block, dormitories are also provided.
Students will be trained in Auto Mechanics, Construction, Welding and fabrication, Carpentry, Plumbing, and Satellite Installation, among others.
The vision of MoHERST is to play a central role in the transformation of The Gambia into a skills-based economy and knowledge society.
