The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology is delighted to inform that the Honourable Minister Professor Pierre Gomez, has been invited to participate in the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Forum from 15th to 18th September, 2023 at Harvard University, USA.

The Harvard Ministerial Leadership Forum is a flagship program. Launched in 2012, the Harvard Ministerial Program is a joint initiative of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. 

The Program engages finance, health, education and other relevant social sector ministers (by invitation only) from Africa, South East Asia and Latin America with the goal of enhancing ministerial leadership and promoting cross-sectoral collaboration in prioritizing human development investment goals for sustainable economic growth. 

The Ministry thanks Harvard University and the US Embassy in The Gambia for funding this program fully, and availing this vital learning opportunity and recognition to the able Minister!
