The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology is pleased to invite you as a recipient of Government of The Gambia (University of the Gambia) Scholarship 2021/2022 to collect your scholarship award letter the Ministry starting 09:30 am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 09:30am to 11:30am. The scholarship award letters are only available for those awardees who completed the signing of the surety bond form as required.

Please take note of the under-mentioned checklist for the collection of scholarship
award letter:

1. Each scholarship awardee must come in-person to the award letter.

2. Each scholarship awardee must come with the university admission letter for
confirmation of matriculation numbers and programmes.

Please if you have a different matriculation number on your admission letter and UTG portal, you MUST visit the admission office at UTG to correct the error on your admission letter before you will be issued the scholarship award letter.

3. Scholarship award letters are only issued once. Any replacement will require the
awardee to furnish the ministry with the following supporting documents:

a. Request for replacement of Scholarship Award Letter.
b. Affidavit.
c. Police Report.
d. Payment receipt of GMD 300.00 (three hundred dalasis) at 'MoHERST
account office.
