Manyima is an Assistant Records Officer at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology. She has been working at the Ministry for over 10 years. Manyima started as an auxiliary staff. Given her passion to pursue higher education, she was supported by MoHERST to pursue her BA in Developmental Studies at The University of The Gambia.  Manyima was born in Gunjur and now lives in Sukuta.

Her daily work duties include filing, record keeping, and assisting officers in their day-to-day activities, among others.

She describes working at the Ministry in one word: “Amazing!”

According to her, this is a result of the strong leadership of the Ministry.
