MoHERST, COL Launch Capacity-Building Training for USET Staff

The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (MoHERST), in collaboration with the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), today held the opening ceremony of a Capacity-Building Training for staff of the University of Science, Engineering and Technology (USET).

The ceremony marked the launch of workshops on Mentorship, Gender Mainstreaming, and Inclusive Pedagogy for STEM and TVET. The training brought together TVET lecturers and tutors from USET, alongside gender and disability focal points from tertiary and higher education institutions, as well as key MoHERST staff.

This collaborative initiative with COL underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional capacity, promote inclusive education, and enhance quality teaching and learning within The Gambia’s higher education sector.
