Principles of Admission
Each programme follows specific admission regulations aligned with CSU’s general regulations and University Senate policies. These are subject to periodic review and approval.
Types of Admission
1. Direct Entry
Applicants must possess:
• WASSCE or equivalent with 5 credits, including English Language, or
• GCE O’Level with 3 credits and 2 passes, including English Language
2. Mature Entry
Applicants must:
• Be 30 years or older
• Have a minimum of 5 years work experience
• Possess at least 3 credits or 5 passes
3. Transitioning Diploma Graduates (CSU)
Applicants must have:
• Minimum GPA of 2.0
Admission Duration Based on Diploma:
• National Diploma (ND): Eligible for 3-year admission
• Higher National Diploma (HND): Eligible for 2-year admission
• ND, HND, Postgraduate Diploma holders: May qualify for 1-year admission, subject to course exemptions/waivers
4. Pre-Admission Access Programme (Civil/Public Servants)
Applicants must:
• Be serving Civil or Public Servants
• Have a minimum of 10 years work experience
• Be intended for candidates who do not meet direct entry requirements
Programme:
• Successful applicants undertake a 3-month Pre-Admission Access Programme before full admission.
Programme Schedule
• Interview: 25th – 27th March 2026, 9:00 a.m.
• Orientation: 2nd April 2026, 10:00 a.m.
• Commencement of Lectures: 7th April 2026 (Tentative)
