The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (MOHERST) successfully commenced Day 1 of the SIE Fund Portal Training, facilitated by Forte Innovation. The training forms part of MOHERST’s ongoing efforts to strengthen staff capacity in effectively managing and monitoring the SIE Fund, while promoting transparency, efficiency, and accountability in fund utilization.
The session began with an overview of the training objectives, followed by an introduction to the SIE Fund Portal. Participants were guided through the platform’s interface and key functionalities, including fund applications, approval workflows, and reporting mechanisms.
Using an interactive, hands-on approach, staff gained practical experience navigating the system, asking questions, and clarifying operational procedures. The engaging format enhanced participants’ confidence and deepened their understanding of how the portal streamlines fund management processes.
Day 1 concluded with a recap of key lessons learned and a Q&A session. Participants are now well prepared for Day 2, which will focus on advanced features and monitoring tools within the SIE Fund Portal.
