Hon. Minister Prof. Pierre Gomez today welcomed Mr. Robert Anderson, Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in The Gambia, and Mr. Andrew Posner, Public Diplomacy Officer, for a high-level discussion on strengthening cooperation in higher education and skills development.
The meeting highlighted MoHERST’s transformative agenda — from advancing teacher training and STEM education to creating more opportunities for Gambian youth through the "Turning Tides" project and other MoHERST Flagships.
The U.S. Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to supporting these efforts through ongoing and new innovative learning initiatives.
