The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (MoHERST), on behalf of His Excellency President Adama Barrow and Chancellor of public universities, is pleased to announce the upcoming convocation ceremonies of two major higher education institutions in The Gambia.
The University of The Gambia (UTG) convocation ceremony is scheduled as follows:
Date: 2nd May 2026
Time: 10:00 AM
Venue: Faraba Campus
The University of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (USET) convocation ceremony will take place as follows:
Date: Saturday, 20th June 2026
Time: 10:00 AM
Venue: USET Campus, Brikama
These ceremonies mark important milestones in the academic journey of graduating students and reflect the Government’s continued commitment to advancing higher education, research, science, and technology in The Gambia.
All stakeholders, families, and the general public are cordially invited to attend and celebrate these significant national academic events.
