The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology hereby informs the public, particularly Gambian youth, about an exciting academic opportunity at the AIMS Research and Innovation Centre.
Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the Mathematical Epidemiology programme, which aims to build capacity in mathematical modeling and data-driven approaches to tackling public health challenges, including disease outbreaks.
The Ministry further informs that the application deadline has been extended to 6th April 2026, allowing interested applicants additional time to complete and submit their applications.
Prospective candidates, especially those with strong backgrounds in mathematics, statistics, or related disciplines, are highly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
