The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (MOHERST), in partnership with Forte Innovation, successfully concluded a multi-day training on the SIE Fund Portal for Ministry staff. The program aimed to strengthen participants’ skills in managing, monitoring, and reporting on SIE Fund activities with greater efficiency and transparency.
Throughout the training, staff engaged in practical exercises on advanced portal features, real-time dashboards, and detailed reporting tools. They gained hands-on experience tracking fund applications, approvals, and disbursements while reinforcing principles of accountability and effective financial governance.
On the final day, participants independently applied their knowledge by generating reports, analyzing fund data, and implementing best practices in fund management. The session also provided actionable guidance to support informed decision-making and strengthen institutional financial processes.
This training underscores MOHERST’s ongoing commitment to building staff capacity and ensuring the effective management of national development funds in line with the Ministry’s strategic objectives.
