Senior Management staff of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (MOHERST) today participated in an internal training session on Microsoft Teams 365, led by the Permanent Secretary and facilitated by DPS Technical, Mr. Mucktarr M.Y Darboe.
The training is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen digital capacity, enhance internal communication, and foster collaboration across departments.
The session introduced participants to key features of Microsoft Teams 365, demonstrating how the platform can improve virtual meetings, document sharing, team coordination, and overall workflow within the Ministry. Practical guidance was provided to help staff leverage digital tools for efficient information management and institutional productivity.
In addition to digital skills, the session offered an opportunity for senior management staff to bond, share experiences, and strengthen teamwork, reinforcing cohesion within the Ministry’s leadership team.
This training underscores MOHERST’s commitment to digital transformation and ensuring that its senior management team is equipped with the technological skills and collaborative spirit needed to effectively advance the Ministry’s mandate in higher education, research, science, and technology in The Gambia.
