The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (MoHERST), in collaboration with Africa Label Group (ALG), is embarking on a significant Tracer Study of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), targeting graduate cohorts from 2018 to 2022. Your participation is crucial to the success of this study.
The World Bank-funded Gambia Resilience, Inclusive, Skills and Equity Project (RISE) supports the study. We aim to evaluate the effectiveness of TVET programmes in The Gambia, focusing on employment outcomes, skills gaps, and alignment with labour market demands. It is expected to start from September 24th to November 15th, 2024.
The success of this project hinges on accurate and comprehensive data collection. Consequently, MoHERST recognises the importance of collaboration and invites all sampled stakeholders, including educational institutions, industry partners, government agencies, TVET graduates, and policymakers, to support this initiative by providing accurate data to our field staff.
Your participation will be crucial in ensuring the success of the study and the continuous improvement of TVET in The Gambia, paving the way for a brighter future for our youth.
